Grievance & Feedback

Submit feedback or a grievance and track its resolution.

Resolution Process

Where a REDD+ grievance can be taken
  1. Community and project level

Complaints raised with the REDD+ implementer, CFA or county office through the Feedback, Grievance and Redress Mechanism (FGRM)

  2. Commission on Administrative Justice (Ombudsman)

Complaints about public bodies and officers

  3. National Environment Complaints Committee (NECC)

    Environmental complaints

  4. National Environment Tribunal (NET)

Disputes over NEMA and Forest Conservation and Management Act decisions

  5. Environment and Land Court

Appeals and land and environment disputes

  6. High Court

Enforcement of constitutional rights; under Article 70 anyone may seek enforcement of the right to a clean environment without showing loss

Most complaints should be resolved at the first level; the courts are the last resort. Safeguards indicators 2f and 2g require the mechanism to be functional, accessible and fair.
