Compliance reports, monitoring and evaluation, accountability, corrective actions and reviews.

Monitoring and Evaluation

The NFMS/FIP Secretariat at KFS and the REDD+ Coordination Unit monitor how institutions apply the Data Sharing Protocol. Monitoring may look at:

  • Timeliness of data submission
  • Completeness of the metadata
  • Keeping to agreed submission schedules
  • Taking part in technical validation
  • Carrying out agreed corrective actions
  • Overall compliance with the Protocol

An implementation status report may be prepared each year for the REDD+ Coordination Unit and the National REDD+ Advisory Board.
