Carbon Stocks

Carbon estimation by pool, maps and statistics.

Carbon Estimation

  • AGB per plot from allometric equations
  • BGB = AGB × root:shoot ratio of the stratum
  • Carbon = (AGB + BGB) × 0.47
  • CO₂ = carbon × 44/12
  • Simple average of plots per stratum and canopy class (outliers screened by the interquartile range)
